Employees of the Committee for Environmental Protection under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan take part in the 24th meeting of the Subsidiary Body on Scientific, Technical and Technological Issues (SBSTTA-24), the 3rd meeting of the Subsidiary Body for the Implementation of the Convention (SBI-3) and the 3rd meeting Working Group of the United Nations Convention on Biological Diversity (WG2020-3), which takes place from 13 to 29 March 2022 in Geneva, Switzerland.

The meeting was opened under the chairmanship of the President of the 15th Conference of the Parties and the Executive Secretary of the Convention on Biological Diversity, focusing on synthetic biology, risk assessment and management of genetically modified organisms, as well as the work program of the Intergovernmental Platform for Science Policy on Biodiversity and Ecosystem Services.
